Wrigley Bengoa
Wrigley brought a boundless puppy spirit into our lives that never faded, not even with age. He was a ball-chaser, sunshine-soaker, treat-stasher, and family-greeter extraordinaire. Wrigley loved his toys, barking at cars, car rides, chasing bunnies, squirrels, chipmunks, birds, and any other little critters his nose found!Wrigley especially loved giving kisses and getting his belly rubbed. To know Wrigley was to love him—and to be loved by him was to know true loyalty and joy.
Wrigley wasn’t just a dog. He was a life coach wrapped in fur, teaching us by example every single day:
• Never act your age.
• Live in the moment.
• Appreciate the small things.
• Enjoy the sunshine.
• Do what you love, always.
• Save the best treats for later—preferably buried near the front yard bush • Kids’ rooms are prime snack-hunting territory.
• Greet your family with excitement—they might have chicken.
• Know when to ask for cuddles, and when to find your own space.
• Car rides are better with the windows down.
• Hide snacks in the couch. (They’ll still be there next week.) • You’re never too old for toys.
• Enjoy every single day.
Wrigley’s absence leaves a space we can never fill, but his love surrounds us still—especially his brother Teddy, who misses him deeply. Teddy has been looking for his partner in mischief, his co-pilot on adventures, and his nap buddy. We know Wrigley is still with him in spirit, tail wagging from beyond.
Wrigley is survived by his human parents, Paul and Tina, his human siblings Josh and Katie, and his little fur baby brother, Teddy Your family loves you, Wrigo/Wrigs/Wrigley/Wriggey/Shomo. Thank you for filling our home and hearts with so much love, laughter, and light. You were our best boy, and we will carry your pawprints with us forever. 🐾💙
Run free, sweet boy.
