Willow Moore

Willow passed away unexpectedly July 2nd 2023 at the young age of 3yrs 9 months.

Willow made her entrance into our family October 14th 2019. I found out about Willow through a Facebook friend. The guy I had gotten her from did not want to part with her. He said she was such a snuggler. I thank God he did. She didn't like her car ride home that day and throughout the years she was never a fan.

The day I brought her home we named her Nala. She would not accept the name. We then decided that the name Hades would be a good name for her because she gave us all some hell when she first got here. Let's just say she was not having that name either. She would not respond to either of those names. A week had passed and I started taking her on my hiking adventures. She was too cute. She would get frightened by the smallest sound. A leaf falling on the ground or blowing in the wind, A deer running through the trees, People talking, my footsteps sometimes would get her too. She would come running back to me wanting me to pick her up and of course she got her way. A few hikes later a good friend of mine suggested the name Willow. I loved it and she accepted it so Willow girls it was!

Our Willow grew into the sweetest girl. She was the biggest snuggler. Her favorite cuddle spot was between your head and neck on your shoulder. She would sleep like that all day everyday if we would have let her. Willow also loved giving lots of kisses. When she wasn't loving on us she was bossing her older sister Shadow Waddle around. She loved being the ruler of the house, when it came to other animals Willow was definitely the dominant one. Willow and Shadow had a love-hate relationship at first but over the years they became very close. Our Shadow Waddle will miss her very much.

Our Willow girls also loved to escape her yard and play tag or as we would like to call it "catch me if you can" . She would wait until you got approximately 10 ft away and then take off. She would do it over and over and over until something distracted her to where you could run up on her and grab her. Most of the time her distraction was other animals in their yard. She was very fast so we didn't stand a chance. We were all thankful when she got distracted, trust me LOL.

If Willow wasn't escaping to play tag or as we'd like to call it "catch me if you can" she would escape to visit her neighbor's friends. A German Shepherd named Charlie and the two boy dogs next door. She went would outrun them all. Their owners got a kick out of her and grew to love her escaping into their yards. If she had it her way she would have visited all of them every time she went outside.

Willow also love watching TV. She was the only dog that I knew that did that and it was soooo cute. Her favorite movies were Open season, Angry birds, Charlotte's Web and Babe. There were other TV shows and movies that she would also watch. Mostly ones with animals. They would catch her eye, her tail would start wagging, sometimes she would bark at the TV and other times she would stand on her hind legs like she just wanted to get into the TV and be a part of what was going on. I would have to say it made us laugh every time.

When her mom ( myself ) started dating her boyfriend, Willow got to meet his dog Midnight. I'm pretty sure it was love at first sight for them. They were inseparable. If Willow wasn't cuddling with her humans she was cuddling up next to midnight and giving him a ton of kisses. Our midnight will miss his Willow very much.

There are countless memories that I could share of Willow but I will stop here and end with Our Willow billows, Our Willow girls, My baby, you were One of a Kind and have left a permanent paw print on all of our hearts. I hope you're running free and enjoying your next Journey. Thank you for choosing our family to love unconditionally.

         🐾 Forever in our hearts,

             we love you Beautiful. 🐾

Jax, age 11 years old, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on January 22nd, 2026. Cremation services accorded. Arrangements entrusted to Whispering Willow Pet Funeral & Cremation Services. I loved to watch Jax run laps around the yard almost habitually. I'm truly going to miss morning in bed snuggled up while I drank my coffee, us sitting together by the fire and my favorite, watching him play with other dogs. Jax really loved sitting in his chair he had outside and no matter where I went, he had to follow me. Jax hated to be alone and if he didn't have to be, he wasn't. He was such a big lover to everyone he ever came in contact with. He will be truly missed. Until we meet again on The Rainbow Bridge.

Beans, age 8 weeks old, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on January 21st, 2026. Cremation services accorded. Arrangements entrusted to Whispering Willow Pet Funeral & Cremation Services. She was the spunkiest little girl and always so happy. She was born right before thanksgiving, and I was so thankful for her. She had the loudest little bark for how tiny she really was. She is survived by her mother and father but is running happily across the flower fields at the Rainbow Bridge with her grandparents. She is very deeply missed, nonetheless.
